Subversity features World Pornography Conference Highlights

Irvine -- Subversity, a KUCI public affairs program that airs each Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. on Tuesdays, this Tuesday (August 11) features the first of several programs bringing listeners highlights of the first World Pornography Conference held this past weekend in Universal City. The conference was sponsored by the Center for Sex Research at CSU Northridge, and the Free Speech Coalition. The show airs on KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange County.

On August 11, Subversity will air the speeches given by legendary First Amendment lawyer Stanley H. Fleishman, and ACLU President Nadine Strossen at the keynote luncheon at the conference. Fleishman talks about his most famous cases, and Strossen, defending porn, attacks the "McDworkinite" opposition to sexual expression that is prevalent among some quarters of society.

In future programs, Subversity will air other highlights of the conference. Subversity's host, Dan Tsang, spoke on a panel about gay Asian American porn.
