Al Gore on KUCI

Irvine -- Vice President Al Gore's talk last Friday at UC Irvine on reinventing government will be featured on this evening's edition of Subversity, a KUCI public affairs program from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange County.

Gore, who was in Orange County campaigning on behalf of U.S. Senator Loretta Sanchez, took time off to come to UCI's Bren Center where he was the last speaker in a day-long event on "Restoring Confidence in Government through Professional Management." The events kicked off a gift from ex-Republican now-Democrat Roger Johnson, who headed the General Services Administration under Clinton. Johnson and his wife, Janice, have endowed a chair in Civic Governance and the Social Ecology of Public Management. Subversity will bring you excerpts from the day's events, including Gore's talk.

Show host Daniel C. Tsang will himself be interviewed on Cable TV's Orange County News Channel (OCN) tonight at 7 p.m. on "Prime Story", about CIA Spying on Americans. The half-hour show is repeated at 11:30 p.m.

Subversity airs each Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 FM.
