Halloween special on Subversity: Professor on witch trial
Irvine -- In tune with the spirit of Halloween, Subversity's October 28
show (next Tuesday) will feature a talk by Prof. Emeritus Gilbert Geis
(Criminology, Law and Society, School of Social Ecology) on his new book,
coming out on Halloween, on a 17th century witches' trial. Subversity
airs Tuesday, October 28, from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9FM.
Prof. Geis is co-author of "A trial of Witches: A Seventeenth-Century
Witchcraft Prosecution" (Routledge, 1997). Prof. Geis gave this talk
earlier this year at a meeting of Students Advocating Truth in Justice, a UCI graduate student group.
Subversity, a public affairs show, airs each Tuesday from 5-6 p.m. on
KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange County.
