Community Activists Testimony at Civil Rights Panel
Irvine -- The testimony of community activists before the California
Advisory Committee to the U.S. Civil Rights Commission last Thursday will
be featured on this evening's edition of "Subversity," a KUCI public
affairs program, airing today from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange
County.
The panel convened May 29 at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa to
hear community activists, law enforcement and the ACLU testify about
police/youth relations. A written report is expected by 1998.
