Crime Policy Topic of KUCI Show

Irvine -- Tuesday's edition of the KUCI interview program, Subversity, takes a critical look at how crime policy is decided in the U.S. The show features Students Advocating Truth in Justice (SATJ) founder Doug W. Kieso. The topic: Crime Policy. He focuses on the potential and actual conflicts of interest among those who make critical decisions on crime policy, and how they get their information. SATJ is a student group at University of California, Irvine. The show airs Tuesday, April 22, 1997 from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange County.

Kieso has an law and accounting background. In addition, he has taught accounting, business law and criminal justice at a liberal arts college in Illinois. He is currently a graduate student in the criminology, law and society program at UC Irvine.
