KUCI at 5-6 pm today: Living in Hanoi II

Date: Tue, 23 Jul 1996 12:09:12 -0700 (PDT)

Irvine -- KUCI's "Subversity" returns today to the topic of life in Hanoi with a live interview with H. Tran, a law student from Hanoi and John White, a UC Irvine graduate now living in Hanoi. The public affairs program airs this evening from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange County.

It is White's second appearance on Subversity. In January, Subversity broadcast the original "Living in Hanoi" program, with a taped interview with White recorded by host Dan Tsang in Hanoi last November and a follow-up interview a month later back in the U.S.

This program is part of an occasional series on "Subversity" to bring to the public the views of the residents of Vietnam. Subversity last fall broadcast the speech of Vietnamese Ambassador to the U.S. Le Van Bang given to the Orange County World Affairs Council.

Listeners can call (714) 824-KUCI (5824) to chat with the guests during the show.

Tomorrow morning, Tsang is making a slide presentation on his trip to Vietnam in a UCI Asian American studies class. For more information, contact Tsang.
