Another gay support group forms in high school
Irvine -- Subversity, a KUCI public affairs program, this evening features
an interview with the student and teacher who have formed another high
school gay support group, this time just on the border of Orange County,
at La Mirada High. Senior James Kiger, president of the school's
Gay/Straight Alliance will join alliance advisor Linda Bohm on this
evening's broadcast, from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange County,
California. The show is also Webcast at kuci.org:8080.
Host Daniel C. Tsang will also be interviewing Lyn Morefield, the co-chair
of GLSEN, the educators' network that supports gay/lesbian/bisexual teens.
Subversity has previously interviewed gay teens from Fountain Valley,
Huntington Beach and Los Alamitos high schools.
