Ervin Staub on Genocide & Humanitarian Intervention

Irvine -- Subversity on Tuesday, Feb. 20, airs an interview with UCI Chancellor's Distinguished Fellow Ervin Staub on "Genocide and Humanitarian Intervention" at 4-5 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 fm in Orange County (and Web-cast at kuci.org).

Staub, a political psychologist at U. Mass-Amherst, talks with show host Dan Tsang about individual and group responsibility, national interests, NGOs, truth commissions, and the demonizing of enemies. He has been active in Rwanda, helping heal the nation.

Staub speaks at UCI Student Center's Emerald Bay A&B at 7:30 p.m. that evening on "Understanding the Roots of Genocide and Mass Killing" and on Wednesday, February 21 at 12 noon at the UCI Student Center's Monarch Bay A & B on "Preventing Genocide and Mass Killing".
