Gnarwolves - Gnarwolves - [Pure Noise Records]
Gnarwolves are a 3 piece Punk Rock band from the UK. Their debut album Gnarwolves is very catchy and upbeat record that feature’s a very unique sound that can be characterized by twangy guitars, pounding drums, angsty vocals, and catchy melodies. While Gnarwolves are typically labeled as a Pop Punk band, their sound can actually be traced back to that of different ‘90s punk rock bands such as Ten Foot Pole, Good Riddance, and 88 Fingers Louie. Tracks to definitely check out on this album include: “Boneyard,” “Smoking Kills,” “Day Man,” and “Hate Me (Don't Stand Still).” If you like what you hear on this record, you can catch Gnarolwves live at the Fox Theater in Pomona on October 19th with Modern Baseball, The Story So Far, and The Wonder Years.

No Bragging Rights - The Concrete Flower - [Pure Noise Records]
No Bragging Rights are a 5 piece Melodic Hardcore band from Riverside, CA. Their new album The Concrete Flower is a really awesome record that features a very diverse sound that can be characterized screaming vocals, pounding drums, heavy breakdowns, and emotional lyrics. With all of these elements in place, this album is able to appeal to a wide variety of listeners, such as those who enjoy hardcore punk, and others who are more into post-hardcore and emo. Some of the bands who can be compared to No Bragging Rights include: Comeback Kid, Being As An Ocean, Backtrack, and Counterparts. Tracks to definitely check out on this record include: “The Concrete Flower,” “Outdated,” “Right Minded,” and “Attention.”

GRMLN - Soon Away - [Carpark Records]
GRMLN is the Punk Rock/Pop Punk solo project of Yoodoo Park, who is currently based out of San Francisco, CA. His new album Soon Away is a very catchy and upbeat record that can be characterized by distorted guitars, upbeat drumming, and catchy vocal melodies. While it is hard to pinpoint one central influence to GRMLN’s sound, the listener can pick out pieces of many different Punk Rock bands such as Jawbreaker, Superchunk, Hot Water Music, and Polar Bear Club. Tracks to definitely check out on this album include: “Jaded,” “Avoider,” “Crawling Into You,” and “Awake.”

Proletariat Youth - Chink Check - EP - [Self Released]
Proletariat Youth (A.K.A Pro-Youth) are a 4 piece Hardcore Punk band from Riverside, CA. Their EP Chink Check is a fast paced and hard edged record whose sound can be compared to that of different ‘90s youth crew bands such as In My Eyes, Ten Yard Fight, Bane, and Good Clean Fun. Characterized by screaming vocals, pounding drums, and melodic guitar lines, this EP is one that can be enjoyed by all of those who associate themselves with the underground hardcore scene. Tracks to definitely check out on this EP include: “Her,” “True ‘Til College,” and “No Words.”
