OBN III's - Live In San Francisco - [Castle Face Records]
OBN III’s is a 4 piece Garage Punk band from Austin, TX. Their new live album Live In San Francisco is very solid record that really showcases the band’s raw and unique sound which is a mix between punk rock, rockabilly, and surf rock. Characterized by shredding guitars, upbeat drumming, and powerful vocals, the songs heard on this record can be compared to those of some of the more iconic punk rock bands of the 1980s such as: The Clash, Social Distortion, The Misfits, Agent Orange, and X. Tracks to definitely check out on this album include: “Off The Grid,” “Running On Fumes,” “So What If We Die,” and “No Time For The Blues.” If you like what you hear on this record, you can catch OBN III’s live at Los Globos in Los Angeles on November 29th.

Hobart W Fink - Back And Forth Forever - [Self Released]
Hobart W Fink is a 4 piece Indie Punk band from Los Angeles, CA. Their new album Back And Forth Forever is very catchy record that can be characterized by its loud and distorted guitars, upbeat drumming, and soaring vocal harmonies. While the sounds heard on this album are very reminiscent of those heard by legendary Los Angeles punk rock band X, the listener can also hear traces of a few different well-known rock bands such as The White Stripes, Superchunk, and Nirvana. Tracks to definitely check out on this album include; “So Many Losers,” “Final Fantasy 7,” “Atlantic City,” “LA Rescue,” “Hundred Dollar Bill,” and “My Friend.”

The Long Run - Trials - EP - [Self Released]
The Long Run are a 5 piece Pop Punk band from Glendora, CA. Their new EP Trials is a very upbeat and catchy record that can be characterized by loud and distorted guitars, upbeat drumming, and angsty yet melodic vocals. The sounds heard on this record can be compared to some of those heard by some of the more well-known pop punk bands on the scene right now such as: Neck Deep, Veara, and Light Years. Tracks to definitely check out on this EP include: “Cancer,” “Three Weeks,” and “Head Under Water.” The Long Run are a very good up and coming Pop Punk band who are starting to garner a lot of support in the local Pop Punk scene.
