Mikal Cronin - MCII – (Merge)
This is the second album Mikal Cronin has made, and it’s all about new beginnings. It’s lo-fi garage fuzz with sweet vocals, sure to make any watermelon popsicle even sweeter, especially since summer is approaching. My favorite is “Change.” This album will sure make any jellyfish start to jive.

The Hussy - Pagan Hiss - (Southpaw)
This is The Hussy’s third album, and it’s lo-fi garage punk at its finest. Great music to rock out to in your room with the volume busted high, dancing in your mirror, and pretending you are a rock star.

Har Mar Superstar - Bye Bye 17 - (Cult)
It’s funky indie rock that will put you in a good mood and make you want to dance with the mop in your kitchen while working on some spring cleaning, because life is good. So many good vibes here. My favorite is “Restless Leg.”

UBT - Ego Orientation - (Psychic Handshake)
It’s sunshine psychedelia garage pop from Montreal. When you and your friends want to drive to the beach but are too lazy to get out of the house, pop this album in to get the same effect, minus the sunburn. It’ll feel like a rockin’ summer all year round.

Blue-Eyed Son - Shadows On The Son - (Eenie Meenie)
It’s indie pop rock with folk undertones for introverted kids who think too much. The perfect album to listen to after the death of a family pet. It’s there to help you get through it, and move forward. So mourn, dance, think, and do whatever.

Grandchildren - Golden Age - (Ernest Jenning)
It’s mellow indie rock with airy vocals that will relax anyone who has anger management problems. A similar effect of fizzing bubbles from a cold pop on a stressful and scorchingly hot day.
