Thee Oh Sees - Putrifiers II - (In The Red Records)
it’s lo fi goodness that is a bit more shoegazy than their previous albums... fronted by the talented John Dwyer, Mikal Cronin on the Sax, and Dylan Edrich (from The Mallard) playing the Viola... it’s stare at the clouds for hours on plaid picnic blanket wearing blue mascara kind of sound

Amanda Palmer and The Grand Theft Orchestra - Theater is Evil - (8 ft. Records)
poppy synthy emo gory intelligent dance party, a sound more different than Amanda Palmer’s previous band The Dresden Dolls...more electrifying but still very lovely disturbing lyrics that will make you want to stencil in your eyebrows

The Raveonettes - Ovservator - (Vice Records)
Danish duo, lush pop bubbles that pop too soon kind of sadness that still keeps you dancing under city lights

The Daredevil Christopher Wright - The Nature of Things - (Captured Tracks)
soothing melodic organ like church pop that will catch you off guard and blushing as you try to explain why there are feathers in your hair after coming back from a lovely hike

Dan Deacon - America - (Domino Records)
electric poppy beat hypnosis that sends nature and machine combined signals down your spine

Guided By Voices - Class Clown Spots A UFO - (Planetary)
indie rockers from Dayton, Ohio, with switching members and sounds currently of uplifting mid-fi and scurffy hippies who wear black on weekends kind of outing

Deerhoof - Breakup Song - (Polyvinyl)
energy filled tracks that mix brash electronic noise and delicate pop melodies, accented by vibrant Cuban style horn and percussion arrangements, the kind of breakup you are thrilled about

Wymond Miles - Under the Pale Moon – (Sacred Bones Records)
haunting and creepy rock almost from a soundtrack of a ghost filled movie with a happy ending
