I finally got my Ultrastor 24F working under Windows 95.  For any interested 
reader, here are some of the details:  My config (as it came from the factory) 
used the 16/63 drive mapping mode.  This is not compatible with the ULTRA24F.MPD 
driver from Win95.  So, after backing up the entire system, I changed the config 
to 64/32 using cf.exe (config program).  Then, the hard drive needed reformatting,
so using the Win95 startup floppy, I ran FDISK and FORMAT and SCANDISK.  Then I 
installed Win95 from CD (details available for anyone interested).  I was shocked
to see that the *.MPD driver was actually working in 32b mode!!

Without this awesome web site, I would never have found the problem.
