Coming out in Chinese families: Subversity this evening

Irvine -- Subversity, a public affairs interview program on KUCI, 88.9 FM in Orange County, this evening brings a report from the first U.S. Tongzhi Conference in San Francisco this past weekend at UC San Francisco. Tongzhi ("Comrade") is a term used to describe Chinese lesbians and gays. The report focuses on a panel discussion on coming out in Chinese families with parents and children who are gay; also participating are lesbian parents.

Subversity airs this evening from 5-6 p.m. on KUCI, 88.9 FM. Host is Daniel C. Tsang.
