Out in High School

Irvine -- For the last show of the summer quarter, Subversity, a public affairs program on KUCI, Tuesday (September 19) afternoon features a chat with gay and lesbian youth about high school life. Among the interviewees is Jason Fasi, openly gay athlete at Mission Viejo High Schoool, who was previously on Subversity talking about the obstacles he faced starting a gay/straight alliance at the south county school. Fasi, 17, is featured in this past Sunday's L.A. Times article on gay athletes, Coming out to face the team.
