Tiger Cubs Invade KUCI!
On Saturday, February 23, 2002, KUCI was the venue for a site
visit by the Tiger Cubs of Aliso Viejo with their mothers and a sister
chaperoning.
The 7-year-old cub scouts looked in awe at some relics of the past:
vinyl records (LPs) as well as a reel-to-reel tape deck. They also got a
chance to go on the air during Ardem's show, as Jennifer interned, and
KUCI assistant engineer Mike Boyle
explained the intricacies of the
"coffin" in Studio B to them. The cub scouts earned a "bead" in
communications for their visit.
